• Formed several bands, among them,"biGGrunt" (with Dennis Cowan & Roger Ruskin Spear), "The Sean Head Show Band" (with rotating members, including Eric Clapton), and Vivian Stanshall & His Gargantuan Chums.
• Besides appearing on several other people's records....ranging from Mike Oldfield to John Entwhistle to Steve Winwood to punk rockers The Damned....Vivian released several albums on his own:
• "Men Opening Umbrella's Ahead"
• "Sir Henry At Rawlinson's End"
• "Teddy Boys Don't Knit" (featuring Neil, Rodney & Sam Spoons)
• "Peter And The Wolf" (as narrator)
• "Sir Henry At N'didi's Kraal"
• Also made several radio spots, radio shows, television adverts, singles, appeared on "Innes Book of Records", wrote several play and had a film made of "Sir Henry At Rawlinson End" (in which he also cameos).
